Sec. 02 – Company
Who we are
MAWANI sp. z o.o. is a trading company based in Warsaw. We import goods from China and the Middle East and sell them in Poland and across the EU, today mainly on Allegro, where we have over a hundred completed orders. We are a small team: decisions are made quickly, and everyone sees the results of their work in numbers, not in reports. The website you are reading this on runs in five languages, and that is how we approach every part of the business.

Software Developer
You will take over the development of our website and the tools our sales and logistics run on every day. The stack is Next.js and TypeScript, but the ability to work independently matters more than any particular technology.
What you will be doing
- Developing and maintaining mawani.pl (Next.js, TypeScript, five language versions)
- Building small tools that streamline sales, shipping and order handling
- Automating repetitive processes, from shipping labels to reports
- Keeping the site fast, secure and visible in search
What we are looking for
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript and React or a similar stack
- Ability to see tasks through to the end on your own
- Comfortable working with git and code review
- Nice to have: experience with e-commerce or API integrations (e.g. Allegro)
- Native-level Polish (C2) and English at C1 or above

Senior Accountant
You will run the full books of a trading company that imports from outside the EU and sells both in Poland and within the Union. We are looking for someone who knows this territory from practice, not from a course.
What you will be doing
- Full accounting for a limited liability company, from source documents to month-end and year-end close
- VAT settlements, including imports from outside the EU and intra-EU transactions (WDT/WNT)
- Tax returns and statutory reporting, plus contact with the tax office and ZUS
- Helping shape the financial processes of a growing company
What we are looking for
- Several years of experience in full accounting, including at a trading company or an accounting office
- Hands-on knowledge of import settlements and intra-EU trade
- Up-to-date knowledge of Polish tax and accounting regulations
- Independence and accuracy: you will be the company's key person on finance
- Nice to have: experience with e-commerce or selling on Allegro
- Native-level Polish (C2) and English at C1 or above

Lawyer, Polish Law
You will make sure the company's contracts, products and day-to-day operations stay compliant with the law. An ideal role for someone who knows the trade in goods and enjoys concrete, practical problems.
What you will be doing
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts with suppliers, carriers and partners
- Product compliance with EU market requirements: standards, labelling, documentation
- Supporting the corporate matters of a limited liability company and day-to-day legal questions
- Advising on entry into new markets and new product categories
What we are looking for
- A law degree; attorney or legal adviser traineeship will be an asset
- Good knowledge of commercial and business law
- Experience in the trade in goods or product compliance will be a big plus
- Ability to write plainly and to the point: contracts should be easy to understand
- Native-level Polish (C2) and English at C1 or above

HR Intern
You will help us build the team you are reading about on this page. An internship with real tasks, from job ads to onboarding, not coffee runs.
What you will be doing
- Posting job ads and doing the first screening of applications
- Contacting candidates and scheduling interviews
- Keeping HR records in order and helping onboard new joiners
- Supporting the company's day-to-day organisational matters
What we are looking for
- Student status or a recently completed degree (HR, psychology, management, though not necessarily)
- Strong communication skills and a courteous manner with people
- Accuracy: HR paperwork does not forgive a mess
- Native-level Polish (C2) and English at C1 or above
